What is TALK?

TALK is an English salon hosted by the library and Utalk association that consists of topic discussions and interesting games every Monday night at DeWang library.

How does TALK work?

Our TALK starts at 19:30 in Language Commons. Participants can arrive about 10 minutes early and register by scanning the QR code given on the screen, then choose a seat to join a group.

There will be two hosts on the spot. Their role is to give a specific theme and a brief introduction about it within 15 minutes. Afterward, several questions will be listed to help you discuss with your groupmates.

Then comes free discussion time about one hour. Express your views and communicate with each other including but not limited to the questions above.

At last, some relative activities or games will be set for everyone to participate in. And TALK ends at about 21:00 in a joyful atmosphere.

What can we get from TALK? 

TALK is an amazing place to relax physically and spiritually. Whether you want to use your brain to activate the number of active words, train your expression skills, or make friends, no rules have been set for you to come.
